| As you may now know, I am the new Republican Party chairman for Cumberland County. It is a real honor for me to hold this position, and I will endeavor to carry out the tasks at hand with diligence. You know as well as I do just how important it is to get Obama out of office, get Republicans in office, and keep the Republicans we have in office. This past election cycle saw an amazing turnaround in the North Carolina legislature; we must not only maintain our dominance, but also gain more seats in the legislature. In order for Cumberland County to do our part we need to work together and all chip in. Some of us have talents, some of us have time, and some of us have money. Unfortunately most of us only have one of those three things, but it takes all three to win in 2012.
In this time of much needed change locally and nationally, I'm counting on you to help us by doing all you can to further our cause. As this new year begins and we think about the resolutions we have made, will you along with myself and others add one more and resolve to work together and move onward to victory in 2012? If so, there are things you can do to help, you can start by helping with our Ronald Wilson Reagan Dinner. This event is to honor one of our greatest residents and the conservative ideas that he and our great Party believe in.
The dinner will be held on Saturday, February 4th, at the Bordeaux Hotel beginning at 6pm. We need sponsors and are currently selling tickets, so voters can come listen to those in office and those running for office. We have invited several high profile guests, and we hope to have more confirmations of those attending in the next couple weeks. So far we have Jack Hawke, past NC GOP Chairman, who will be emceeing our event, Dan Forest, candidate for Lt. Governor, Current NC GOP Chair Robin Hayes, Ilario Pantano, candidate for US Congress, State Senator David Rouzer, candidate for US congress, and Congresswoman Renee Ellmers. We have tickets available for $40 each, 2 for $75, a table of 8 for $300 and sponsorship levels. These include recognition in our program of $250 - 6 tickets, $500 - 12 tickets and time with speakers, and $1000 - 2 tables and time with speakers. Again, we all have Republican friends that share the same goals that we do, and now is the time to move forward. We will be able to use the proceeds from this event to help elect Republicans to office, make robo calls on the candidates' behalf, purchase radio air time and help fund lawsuits on candidates' behalf where gross voter fraud is known to be present.
